Val Gardena & Venice, IT

Lift tickets are not included in the cost of the trip.  In 2023 a 5-day lift ticket cost 257 Euro and seniors get a ~10% discount.  A 5-day for lift ticket for Dolomiti SuperSki/Val Gardena is included with the 2023/24 Ikon base pass.

Federal, state, and local governments, as well as airlines, may impose additional airport, passenger facility charges, fuel surcharges or other taxes at any time.  In the unlikely event that this occurs the cost of the trip may increase accordingly.

Deduct $800 from trip price if providing own air.  This option is only available to attendees traveling from outside the Washington/Baltimore area.

Ground transportation from Venice Airport to Val Gardena, Val Gardena to Hotel Bologna, and Hotel Bologna to Venice Airport is included

Insurance is not included in the price of the trip and can be purchased from an insurance company of your choice.  Most insurance companies offer two types of insurance, Standard Travel Insurance Policy or Cancel For Any Reason Insurance Policy (CFAR Insurance)

Hotels and Resorts also have Force Majeure policies – if the hotels were to be shut down again and not opened they would refund lodging payments in full.   If they are opened but a guest chooses not to travel they would not refund.   Force Majeure also covers the majority of refunds for air, transfers, and other portions of the package.

OTHER CANCELATION INFORMATION:

Airfare:

1. Cancel by January 1 and receive 50% refund on airfare
2. Cancelation fee after February 1 is 100%
3. After January 20 there is a fee to make name changes.

Lodging

1. Cancel by December 15 and receive a full refund on lodging
2. Cancel by January 15 and pay a 30% penalty
3. Cancel by February 1 and pay a 50% penalty
4. From 31 days prior to departure lodging is non-refundable
